Morning On Third Avenue © Eric Daum 2009 A late night infatuation The early morning conversation The sun illuminates Along the avenue We kiss beneath the station And in our imagination The Trains will always wait For lovers out of view Another Glorious Morning The city hums to an electricic beat Another Glorious Morning We glide along the glowing street Held hands and talked forever Our faces pressed together Mindless of the crowd Along the avenue A lingering kiss that never Would be kissed in nasty weather In the suns warm glow Along the avenue Another Glorious Morning The city hums to an electricic beat Another Glorious Morning We glide along the glowing street

Blue September © Eric Daum 2014 On a long ago emerald summer day Windows open we raced down country lanes Your hand moved like a kite in the rushing breeze The sunlight played on your face through the passing leaves Blue September days The best days that we had Now Blue September days Only make me sad We sat on a stonewall eating ice cream cones When I asked you “Where next do you want to go?” “Crazy. Do you wanna come along with me” I was already crazy in love, with you beside me. Blue September days were the best days that we had Now Blue September days Only make me sad We sat on the beach to watch the sun go down Your head on my shoulder as the fires burn down Blue September days were The best days that we had Gold October days were When it all turned bad Grey November rain the end of you and me White December nights you’re just a memory

The Winter of Our Discontent © Daum 2011 I thought I always knew That my destiny was you But now I’m not so sure The world's a lonely place And we can no longer face The Better Angels of Our nature When I awoke I was still dreaming It seemed that you were heaven sent Now you say you must be leaving In the winter of our discontent You are not made like me Yet you mean everything to me And I could never make you stay I could never leave you I could not deceive you No matter what you say When I awoke I was still dreaming It seemed that you were heaven sent Now you say you must be leaving In the winter of our discontent When I awoke I was still dreaming I didn't realize what you meant Now you say you must be leaving In the winter of our discontent

about

This album is an homage to the early Synth-Pop bands of the 1970's, especially John Foxx-era Ultravox. Songs include remixes of early Core Ten songs from 2009, new versions of Electric Angels' songs and two new compositions.
